D. Gregory Sturgill, CPA, CVA

D. Gregory Sturgill, CPA, is the managing member and founder of Sturgill, LLC. Greg is a graduate of James Madison University (with honors) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Public Accounting. 

He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (currently serving as a Committee Member on the Accounting and Auditing Services Board), Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and other professional and civic organizations. During 2006 Greg will be a continuing education instructor for fellow CPAs in the field of employee benefit plans. 

His experience includes over a dozen years as a practicing certified public accountant (CPA) including several years managing audits for a Big 4 national firm in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore area. His tax and auditing experience includes employee benefit plan, professional service, real estate, hi-tech and manufacturing clients. Greg is also a director for a well known non-profit organization.
